Vi må dele noen ferieminner. Til dere som har noen feriedager til gode, og planlegger en langweekend i løpet av høsten, vil vi anbefale en dag i Lucca (Toscana). Den tredje helgen i hver måned har Lucca et enormt antikvitetsmarked. Dette strekker seg gjennom store deler av byen, men i hovedsak konsentrert mellom Piazza San Giusto og Piazza Antelminelli og sidegatene rundt. Her finner du alt. Og da mener jeg ALT. Fra kostbare antikviteter til billig nips. Enorme møbler og knøttsmå øreringer. 230 utstillere, rammet inn i arkitektur fra 1700-tallet, danner kulisser som gir en fantastisk forestilling.

We wish to share a few holiday memories with you.
Those of you who have a few days of vacation time left over, and are planning a weekend getaway this fall, should consider visiting Lucca (Tuscany). On the third weekend of every month Lucca hosts an enormous antiquity market. It stretches throughout the city, but the main part is concentrated between Piazza San Giusto and Piazza Antelminelli, and the many side streets closeby. You can find anything here. And I mean ANYTHING. From costly antiques to cheap trinkets. From huge pieces of furniture to tiny earrings. 230 different exhibitors, framed in architecture from the 1700’s, make up the set in what is a fantastic show. Have a great Monday.
