The kitchen new wave
Owning a piece of furniture or decor that are not industrial products is an indulgence. Yet such a product can be unpretentious and aesthetically simple. Imagine discovering all the subtle differences of two products that at first glance appear identical.
Design changes, but wee see that the handicraft techniques of old are practiced at an increasing rate by both Norwegian and international craftsmen. The trenchers or chopping boards you see pictured are not only handmade, but they also come with documents describing where the original tree used to stand. Coupled with their equivalents, for example within ceramics, they represent contemporary art in handicrafts. Pure kitchen aesthetics.
